This game sucks. I may not play the second half. First off, *I* don't have ANY of those guys you mentioned. Second of all, stop being a pussy...

Just for that, night owls, I'm gonna play and win again!
Now, go to sleep and leave me alone. I gotta get to work.

Don'tcha just hate it when your Wood lets you down? I see people gear up for Day One in a multitude of different ways. Lost of testosterone-fueled name calling in the wee hours  . I'm sorry I missed that display . First night in months I was in bed before midnight . Originally posted by J Geoff: JG 00 Oakland LD 00 Oakland
Can this be? CURSED the FIRST day?? We also share 3 offensive players. What have I EVER done to you, Pork?

Damn - what a letdown - woke up with Woody and when I got to work I realized I no longer had Woody. OK, sorry had to get that out of my system. This was pretty tough cause as mentioned earlier being that this is a new season, one thought is to load up on the big names - see which ones you want to carry for awhile, the long haul, and then you look for some of the more cheaper - who will play well for you that day - but you throw in guys not playing today etc and in the end it is just clusterfk of players. But to lose the pitcher - ouch that is a tough way to start the season - good thing they are playing the suck ass Dodgers - that is the only thing in our favor today. No day games either huh

Ha, Bad Daddy, I was gonna say herpes, but I didn't want that vision in my head. Surely the Pork curse isn't THAT bad?? Maybe like an annoying wart or bunion? Well DB, I NEVER watch late night talk shows but I was in between the Elimindate channel and Blind Date channel and saw this cute guy...looked closer and it was Zito. Wondered if anyone that saw him would care to comment on his attire. He looked like he was the lead singer of Train or something. Some weird burnt orange pants, a matching shirt that looked at first like it had ruffles (reminiscent of a prom tuxedo circa 1978) but I think at second glance, it was just a design. Sleeves were a bit short for his arms and cut down the by the sides of his wrists. Funky, clunky shoes. Handsome, HANDSOME face - looks so young! I think he is about 25 now but very cute. Letterman asked him if he ever hit a mascot with a bat I think he was gonna go up on the roof and throw balls into windows of other buildings. My attention span is only like <--> that so I surfed channels from then on and forgot to go back.

Sorry DB - didn't mean to exlude you. We can make it a 3-some with Finley. This morning I was trying to figure out how I would blow everyone out of the water with my picks that definitely were not exclusive to me. That is the only thing about sharing players, 9 points for me is 9 points for you when you have the same player. I think I have my hopes for a huge night pinned on Moeller and Furcal (mine exclusively). Believe me, that gives me LITTLE comfort. Of course when Oakland PS scores 30, I have to hope the Pork's offensive bites. Happy first day back, guys.....
