I'm happy with it. I agreed to finish a close second, in exchange for 6 years of Kidd, a healthy Mourning, a washed-up Payton and Malone, and an NBA title for Nets next year.

Here's something funny, though. The Nets sent out next season's ticket renewals last week, and were proud to state that there was no increase in ticket prices. I think what happened was they were so sure that they were going to lose Kidd, they didn't dare try to raise prices, but at the same time were hoping to get some renewals in before his loss became official. So they really fucked up. If they would have waited, they easily could have gotten away with a price increase.

15,000 people per game, times $10 per ticket, times 41 games...Cost them about $6 million
