Why the **** was Wood taken out after the 7th inning??? He was doing GREAT (one run allowed on 2 walks, a hit, and a wild pitch). Now these relievers have loaded the bases in the 8th with NO outs!!! And the schmuck just walked in a run!!! WTF?!?!?!?!

I sympathize with you, JG. What has baseball become? Used to be a 4 man rotation, 40 starts a year, complete game unless you got into trouble and needed relief. Lots of guys would routinely pitch 250 innings plus.

Today, training and conditioning is million times better, but they put guys on 'pitch counts', and then go to their crappy bullpens and blow games.
