Hey, Buff - Time to move into 1st!!

BOSTON (Ticker) -- The New York Yankees seek their sixth consecutive victory at Fenway Park tonight, and they won't face Pedro Martinez.

Martinez was scratched from his scheduled start tonight with a pulled muscle in his back. Martinez stretched at 2:30 p.m. ET today and did not feel right. He will have an MRI on Wednesday, and it's unknown when he'll make his next start.

Bruce Chen will start for the Red Sox instead of Martinez, and will face Jeff Weaver.

New York has not lost in Boston since May 24, 2002 when the Red Sox posted a 9-8 victory. The Yankees posted victories of 3-2 and 14-5 in the final two games of that series and finished the season series in Boston with a pair of shutouts.
