I was just about to go to my computer and brag to everyone how I picked Kip Wells and he threw a complete game shutout. U don't get much more heartbreaking than this. Wells had a 4 hit shoutout thru 8 2/3. 1 FREAKIN out! 1. Then he and Mike Williams give up 4 straight doubles and then a single & now LAs up 5-2 goin into the bottom of the ninth. UN - FREAKIN - BELIEVABLE - but as a buco fan thats the kinda shit that u get used to.
AND its all because WE let Barry go in '92- Nobody really recognizes the curse now but in about 90 years and the same 'ole shit keeps hapnin & we NEVER go back to the playoffs people well look at just like they do the Babe Ruth curse.
