All my player values went up again. This is getting tougher now with the money. I may have to keep this togther until someone gets hurt? I just had to make room for the Yankee PS, and bought them at 7.0 - now they're 7.3 which is utterly ridiculous. How much are they gonna cost in June? $10 million?!! The Cubs have more PPG and cost only 6.6...

LDV - Season One ends at the All-Star Break. After that, we all start at 0 again. It's two games, two "seasons".

That's why those who start late now, and practice, have a good shot during Season 2 cuz we all start over at 0.

The players starting points are reduced somewhat, but more in line w/ their actual relative worth than at the start of the first season. All of the players' first-half stats are available to you, except for the September call-ups.

I coulda told ya that. If nothing else, Manny Ramirez's value dropped, so I quickly renegotiated his contract. (He had a decent day today, though). Their hitting has been disappointing, but the pitching has sucked major league. Oddly enough they're staying close to the Yankees, though.

Enough of this baseball talk now, I'm distracted by Beth's pom-poms.

I see I am learning the rules of play the hard way. Sunday night and I realize I have only 1 player going Monday. So I begin to make changes only to realize that I was not looking at the LKD value so after my first move I was over the Cap - which lead to unwanted moves in order to fit within the cap - all before the salaries were going to change. I recovered somewhat and had a respectible showing yesterday but last night I have cleaned house of my team - and rebuilt. It is a 'lean mean offensive machine' and I can see this team quickly climbing to new heights in the standings. Ok - that is probably just smack talk - but I can see it passing PL at some point

So all that last night only to forget that we are getting rain on the east coast today -

Probably just for a day, so I will enjoy the heck out of it. Seems like just 3 weeks ago, I was dead last :p

Douche Bigalow: if you only knew I was THIS close to picking Hudson and the A's today. I notice PL and OA have them too. I am feeling a pit in my stomach, the same one I felt when Pork picked Woody the other day. I hate when I am THAT close to picking between two and then afterwards feeling as if I chose the wrong one. I went with my gut, citing VERY twisted logic. We shall see later tonight.
