News A day after manager Grady Little speculated that reliever Brandon Lyon might start on Friday due to potential rainy conditions, it appears that Pedro Martinez will get the call after all, the Boston Globe reported. The paper said that Little still may change his mind depending on the weather, but the local forecast does not have showers hitting until 4:00 p.m., nearly two hours into the game.
Views It's very possible that Martinez's outing will be shortened, but fantasy owners should still plan on him starting. He could easily pick up a five- or six-inning victory.
