Another surprising week in the NFL. My Packers finally found a way to defend the home turf by defeating the 49ers 20-10. They are still one game out of first, but should be able to pull out a victory on Thanksgiving at Ford Field.

Even after week 12, there seems to be no guaranteed winners come game day. A person would have to be a complete idiot to take up gambling in this league; even the experts (Chris Berman/Tom Jackson) can only guess what will happen, as opposed to previous years. There's just something about this season....the upsets...the many overtime games....whatever. This season is flat out weird, but nothing short of exciting.

Yea, at this point it is anyones game. Im gonna try not to talk about the Giant anymore because they are basically out of it. So im going for either the Chiefs, Colts, or Titans.

Damn right Williams and Gilbride should get fired. This season is worse than last year, and we were supposed to be improved. The defense is doing fine, but the offense is blowing it. To bad we lost Peerless Price.

I look at Williams and sometimes think of Homer Simpson when he daydreams...is anything going on in his head? He always looks confused.

Unfortunately, Gilbride has done two things.

1.) Turned Bledsoe into a truley immobile quarterback. I don't care whether your Michael Vick or The fat dude in seat 24a with the beer gut, God gave you two legs to run. Granted, a 6'4'' Bledsoe might not be greased lightning, but there's no reason that he can't do some small rollout plays and gain some yardage with the short pass. But no, Gilbride designs these hairbrained plays where Bledsoe spends all day in the pocket with our sub-par offensive line. And Bledsoe is also partially to blame, he's, for reasons I don't understand, acted like Rob Johnson...he has unilateral vision and refuses to eye more than one receiver...

I think the single biggest problem the Bills offense has is the offensive line. They can't protect Bledsoe, they can't open holes for Henry, can't stop the blitz, hell they couldn't even stop me from getting through. The Bills office better revamp the o-line this offseason or we'll have to sit through another sub par season next year.

Owner Ralph Wilson won't tolerate another shitty season, he's waited a long time to win a superbowl, and he doesn't have much time left. I fully expect Williams and Gilbride, as well as the O-Line coach to be gone, and some free-agent acquisitions in the OT and C department. At guard, Ruben Brown isn't as good as he used to be, and Mike Williams is still developing on the right side. The rest of the line looks like big bags of donuts, and they move like it too. :p

I think the Packers still have a fairly good shot at winning the NFC North. The rest of the teams they face are nobodies except the Broncos. But then again, we did lose to Detroit. -Pat

I agree with you Raulito. I hate how his knickname is "The old ball coach." Like he is good enough to have a knickname. Sheesh.

I think the damning should be directed at Snyder. That franchise has gone whacky. Some bad deals have been made there. Hey, do you guys want Fassel?

Speaking of F-F-F-Fassel, the NY papers are full of speculation on the next coach. They've already dismissed Fassel as going, going, gone. How's that for morale? But some of the names batted around; Tom Coughlin, Nick Saban (LSU coach), Charlie Weis, New England offensive coordinator, Romeo Crennel, New England defensive coordinator and that two timer Jimmy Johnson (please, not him.)

Are there any other towns/cities filling the papers with coach firings? Oakland? Arizona? San Diego?

I heard rumors that Jim Hasslet of the Saints might go. If he does I really hope that the Giants can get him. If not, I wouldnt mind Jimmy Johnson but Tom Coughlin sucks ass pure and simple. I would rather have fassel then him.

Buffalo, obviously. I hope that they fire Kevin Gilbride (O. Coordinator) and the O-Line coordinator before they fire Gregg Williams, because at least Williams didn't get FIRED by Jeff Fisher/Tennessee Titans for his crappy plays. :p

Gilbride is just awful...

Hmm, Bengals are 7-5, tied for first with Baltimore, and is 3-1 in their division while Baltimore is 1-2

Hahahaha... when I said that, I didnt imply that I didnt like the Bengals, just that its surprising that they were able to turn it around so fast. In all seriouseness, I hope they make it over Baltimore and I commend Marvin Lewis on the job he did this year. It should be an intersting fight between them and the ravens for the division.

Yeah, I am a Bengals fan. My grandpa buys four season tickets for our family for every game. I have been to every one besides opening day.

Don't fret about the Giants, we had to go through it for years with the Bengals

Well, no. But, we always had so many good players but nothing ever came together. EX: Warrick, Darnay Scott, Boomer Esiason, Justin Smith

I see. The point I was trying to make was that the Giants should have done well this season, but they didnt. As long as I can remember, I cant think of a season as dissapointing as this one. Oh well... enough about the giants.

Anywho... I hope the bengals do well. I alwasy like to see the underdogs win.

Hey everyone, I just got back from watching the Bills kick the Jets ass tonight at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Great game Travis Henry!! He rushed for 169 yards, breaking his single game record.

Final score:

Bills-17
Jets-6

Packers are still alive in the NFC North with today's 34-21 win over the Bears at Lambeau Field. Although Ahman Green has not been as phenomenal as usual (the last 2 weeks), Favre is begining to show signs of improvement.

Next week the Pack plays the Chargers here in San Diego, and I'm going to be there to see Favre play in person for the very first time!! These are very exciting times *catching breath*.

I didnt see much of the Packers game, but I saw that play where Favre got blitzed and threw it blindly toward the line of scrimmage and then it was picked off and returned for a TD. Favre has been making a lot of mistakes like that this year, so I can say with confidence that he is losing his edge. But he is by no means finished.

You're from the area as well? Orchard Park is about 10 minutes from my house.
