Those are the little nuggets we New Yorkers get about the Yanks and Mets that are probably unavailable elsewhere. In addition to three daily newspapers, we have two sportstalk radio stations. I'm sure you get last minute stuff about the Cubs and Sox that I won't see.

Luck, of course, is still a huge factor in these fantasy games. Having him was great. Having him actually do something was luck.

BTW, what's up with Prior? I hear he might miss his first few starts.

I'm sure this isn't sharing information because a high profile player like Prior will have news everywhere that you have undoubtedly seen... At first they thought it was just a strained Achilles that caused him to miss a spring training start and a bullpen session. Then they put him on the DL because he's been having elbow problems as well. The Cubs say he'll be back in the first week of May. I hope so, because as close as the Central is going to be, him missing 2 or 3 starts might make a difference.

Anyway, back to basketball...

Well, my Shaq choice was wrong. But he still got two more points than Yao did!

I was watching the game and Shaq doesn't dominate anymore. Sure, he dunks wide-open slams ferociously, but he's never in position to rebound and he doesn't demand the ball as much as he should (doesn't help that Kobe hogs the ball). At least he was contesting Yao's jump shots pretty well.
