Imagine JG is lost in a forest, walking down a narrow road where he comes to a crossing and the road divides into two paths. At the crossing stood Bethie and Plaw. To the side of the road, JG notices a sign that read...
"You are now at the point of no return. One of these paths will lead to the way out. The other will surely lead to your doom. Here stands Bethie and Plaw. One of them always lies and one of them always tells the truth. You may ask only one question to either of them and no more to find the correct path. Ask your question wisely."
JG asks his one question and he finds his way out.
