Ratner is the guy who wants to move the team to Brooklyn, which would be a disaster for me, since I live five minutes from the arena. As long as the team stays in Jersey, though, I don't care who's involved with the ownership.

Griffin is a great signing. The Nets desperately need another big body, and Griffin can really play, IMO. The Continental Arena was his home court when he played for Seton Hall, so he has a lot of New Jersey fans. I just hope is head is screwed on correctly.

Yeah, DB, the original deal was Griffin, the Nets first round pick (#7 overall) for Houston's three late first round picks, which became Jefferson, Collins, and Armstrong. Armstrong can't really play, but I think the team would be too embarrassed to just cut him, so he's spent three years on the "on-the-injured-list-off-the-injured-list-merry-go-round".
