Hey, what's up Val! Welcome to the game! If you got any questions about the game, don't ask the Commish. He's really competitive!

Just got back from midnight mass... Very cold outside...

Merry Christmas everyone!

I knew I was in figgin trouble when the friggin rosters locked and I saw that DB and JG didn't pick friggin Stojakovic.

That's what I get for going to a friggin Christmas party and getting home half friggin loaded and friigin around with other crap and not picking my friggin team and falling asleep before I picked my friggin team and waking up at two friggin o'clock and rushing.

I'm putting the devil's curse on Lebron James tonight. First time I've used it in basketball, so it should work.

Translation: 4-15 shooting, 3-6 free throws, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, no blocks, 5 turnovers

Fantasy Points: ZERO

Hey, 's back!

The Commish missed something for once? I almost missed it myself (which would've been typical). Don't worry, it's a loooong season! :p

Tho I was hoping DB would miss it, too...

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

Stojakovic getting suspended surprised me... he doesn't have that kind of attitude!

Well, Lebron had 6 turnovers, anyway...

OK, here's my new plan: I got 31 (edit) from Boozer at PF, so I gotta put the jinx on Walker & Jamison

Is Fathersson ever going to update his team? I've already passed his total for the week with two players in one day. :p

Probably not. He played the first four days or so, then dropped out.

BTW, Val, if you knew about Peja not playing today, based on the team you picked it looks like you're gonna be a force to be reckoned with in the second half.

Don't forget Fantasy Baseball, also. You may enjoy reading the 5000+ post thread we had on that.

Hey Plaw- I can't wait for the second half to start so I can give you guys a real run for your money. And look out come baseball season, because it's fantasy baseball that is REALLY my thing. By the way, it's nice to finally meet some people who are as into fantasy sports as I am. I'm definitely going to like it here.

This guy Valadius looks like he has potential. Here one day, gets a good score, and starts trash talking already.

"Can't wait for the second half to start" blah blah blah
"Can't wait for baseball" blah blah blah

Competition is a good thing. Especially when they know they could be black-listed/banned for beating the Don!

Kidding, of course.

Just don't beat me, Val!

Start now - don't wait for the Second Half. Practice, and learn what it will take DAILY to stay in it...!

(no pressure - lol)

Looks like Pee-Lawrence has gotten some new fresh blood for his game. This should make Pee-Lawrence very happy. Just another Holiday wish come true!

While it's true that I want as many players as possible in the game (The more players I beat, the greater the accomplishment), pay no attention to anything FS says here.

He's what is known as a "lurker". He didn't even last in the game for a week, yet he comes to this thread and posts now and then

My theory is that he knew he was overmatched, so rather than play and be totally embarrassed, he made up some lame excuse to drop out. But even though he's not playing, he realizes that this thread is the home of some of the most intelligent discourse ( ), not to mention genuine comraderie ( ), on the whole board, and he still wants to be cool ( ) and hang with us "Big Boys & Girls".

Actuakky, I kidding. FS and I are the closest of friends. Why, he even invited me to his home for Thanksgiving dinner. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it. The were expecting me at The Salvation Army.

Edited. See above. Although when it comes to "Fantasy Games" I sometimes forget that you have pom-poms.

In this thread, you're one of the guys. Consider it a compliment.

A guy with pom poms. Douchey did say I was unique! Although I don't remember anyone asking for a cheer lately.

Do I have to smoke cigars too? I don't like the way they smell.

It sounds like the Wizard of Oz- Don't listen to the man behind the curtain......

Gee, didn't I play for more then a week. Boy, it sure felt like it was longer then that. See it was so boring and so bad that it felt longer! Don't we hear things like this from people who are married?

Please look for me in the Fantasy Football League playing now and maybe, just maybe in the Fantasy Baseball League coming the spring of 2004!

Sure the real reason I drop in here, is this is the one thread without the kiddies. Also who would want to miss a day of Pee-Lawrence's and the other cast of characters wit, moaning/groaning and smart alec remarks.

By the way you missed a great day last month.I was sorry you couldn't make it. I thought I caught a glimpse of you on the national news getting your meal down at the Salvation Army. Man can you pile that stuff high on that plate! Almost as much as the stuff you shovel on this thread.

Happy Holiday Season To Everyone!

Yes, but that hot air comes with some heavy breathing and at times some moaning and groaning.

I'm gonna ask a stupid question. But do we know if Val is a guy or a girl? And I only shake my pom poms when asked. I don't want to offend anyone. Except if they're beating me in points. Then I'll do things to make their drunk Irish uncle blush.

Moaning and groaning? What thread are you thinking of?
