East: Paul Pierce. Not playing today...

West: Before last night, it was Shawn Marion; Now, I'm not sure. But he is playing tonight, and except for Stojakovic, he was the logical pick anyway.

What an ugly week... I rarely pick the Lakers and they lose??? Being in third sucks.

The pot was kind of empty today as far as pickings. It makes trying to select the POTW next to impossible when hardly anyone's playing.

I think the reasons no one got the bonus points for picking the POTW prior to last week were

1) No one was paying attention to trying to pick him, and
2) Even if we were, he simply wasn't playing on Sunday.

Marion had a great 3 games before last night. If he has a good game tonight, I think he'll get it. All things being equal, I would have taken Stojakovic tonight, but for the 15 extra points, I figured it was worth the shot to take Marion.

I think Pierce is an absolute lock for POTW in the East. I was almost tempted to take him even though he's not playing tonight, and getting the guaranteed 15 points.

Given the inconsistency of the shooting guards, that may not have been such a terrible idea.

Edit: Actually, the above wouldn't work; I just realized that our game has Pierce as a forward. The NBA All-Star ballot has him as a guard.

Let's go Peja! I had Pierce last night and I see another monster game in Peja. A thing I noticed is the Hot and Cold listings, which is useful. Notice Desmond Mason and Dan Gadzuric, plaw! I wonder who they play for...

By the Way Pee. I may just want to jump in on the 2nd half of the season. That is if things slow down and I get the winter blues bad enough. If I don't jump back in I will remove it then if it is OK. I could remove it for now if you would like.
