Yeah, well we already got 7" here. Good thing is though I called into work. Bad thing is I'll be spending the day shoveling snow. Oh well, back to bed for me for now.

Baseball starts way before basketball is over.

You'll be there.

BTW, we have about 3 inches here.

Of snow.

Baseball? Why does noone listen to anything I say? I feel like Jackie Chan.

Jackie Chan: Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth?

Chris Tucker: Man, noone understands the words that are coming out of your mouth.

I just had a delightful thought....

There are no rainouts in basketball of course, but there have been many occasions when games were cancelled because of snow storms.

Let me see...my players are in Utah, Sacramento, New Orleans, Orlando, and Denver...

SP 3553 122.0 133 (+10.0) 3686 110.2

Sorry for the delay, guys. My cable was out until now Comcast  . I know JG usually has nice things to say about them, but I've had nothing but trouble off and on.

This time they were right on top of the problem, though. I live in a complex with over 1000 apartments, so with the whole place out, I guess they had no choice.

Getting down to business...

Fueled by great nights by Duncan and Garnett, I think as a league we had our best totals ever.

Jeez! Exact same lineup, different coaches. Both won, so no movement (Well, except that we both moved further north of DB).

I hate to say this JG, but right now I'm pulling for DB to do better than you.

I'm going for the title of
2003-2004 GANGSTER BULLETIN BOARD ESPN FANTASY BASEBALL & BASKETBALL TOTAL OVERALL POINTS CHAMPION

(You don't think that's too long for a custom title, do you?)

Here are the standings:

PL 12,324
JG 12,094
DB 11,962

SP 3686 110.2 097 (-43.2) 3783 120.8

Excluding BT (his team is all f**ked up today), everyone has a frontcourt of Randolph, Garnett, and Miller today.

Except DB. He took Rasheed Wallace instead. That scares me. I hunted high and low for news on Randolph's drug test results and potential suspension, and found nothing.

Does DB know something the rest of us don't?

It says ESPN .

What I did forget to factor in is the Pigskin Pick 'Em game, in which I am also whopping both your respective asses. :p

Not a bad night so far. 132 points before the 5 I'll get for the Laker's win. Like that's not a given. "saying this as I throw salt over my left shoulder". I'll take anything after that dismal showing from last night.
