You are right, in a group of 2 (CC and SP), there is a 1 in 4096 chance of picking the same team.

In a group of 8, there is 7 in 4096 chance that one of the other 7 picks the same team as CC.

That's the question you are answering.

The question I was answering was, what are the chances that any two (not restricted to CC or anyone else at all) pick the same team.

Makes sense?
