First interesting statistic of the season:
POST COUNT BY LEAGUE MEMBERS SO FAR: (With the official initials I will be using all season when posting standings)
PL 18 (plawrence) DB 17 (Don Sicilia, aka Douche Bigelow) CC 15 (Beth E, aka CrabCake) FS 03 (Fathersson) BT 03 (Badguytony) JG 03 (Our Don) TM 02 (Tony Mosrite) BD 01 (Brooklyn Demolition, aka SPikelny 716)
Still time to get in...another 10 1/2 hours.
Of course, some players have been known to deliberately start a few days late....

May I suggest SP instead, as BD means Bad Daddy to many of us

And look at PL trying to lure his honey from Philly here. I wouldn't blame him if he never talked to you again. After all, you've abandoned his football baby. I think you've got alot of nerve!

I could see that plaw changed his title to "Fantasy Basketball Commissioner"! What prize are you giving out when I win... err... to the winner? :p Since you're the commish... here's my tie breakers for the week... Oops, no hokey rules like this for basketball. (Ignore the fact that I'm trying to bait Bad Daddy into the game!)

Boy, I'm slow. I thought this meant you predict PL to change his title. I just NOW noticed that he actually did. Boy, PL, you're becoming the Vershitty of Titles. What's next: "Bottom of the Barrel in Fantasy Football?"

Let the games begin. I by this, I mean the Shaq/Kobe war!! This could get down right ugly. I think Kobe needs to stick to buying his wife $4 Million bribes. Shaq may be out of shape, but he'll still snap Kobe like a twig.

Hmmmm.....Trouble with the site already For you new players: By about 5:00 AM on the day of the games you should be able to view anyone else's roster by clicking on their team name from the page that shows the standings , but it seems as though you can't. Also, you should now be able to pick tomorrow's team. It says "Roster For Wednesday October 29" when you click on your team, but it still shows today's opponents next to the player's name, when it should show tomorrow's. Hope nobody took Kobe. He says he's not playing tonight.

I'm not falling for your reverse jinx threats Doucheman. But I can think of a few lists I'd like to put Kobe on. It's right up there with the list O.J. is making of the "real killers" he's looking for. My theory is poor Kobe will be too worried looking in the crowd making sure his trophy wife is sitting pretty, planted in the first row, showing her "I love Kobe" t-shirt for the press. He'll just use the fued with Shaq as his excuse when he's not "performing".

Still don't understand why you can't see everyone else's roster for tonight. They better fix that. Rooting against guys is at least half the fun.

Basketball is a different story... A lot of good players are injured and the season hasn't even started yet. i don't know if it's because the players are lazy or stupid. don't get me wrong, i'm a huge sixer fan, but why do players wait until late august/early september to get surgery that will keep them out a couple of months and require surgery when they can get it when the season ends? iverson, coleman, and mckie all waited atleast until august to get there surgeries. -Pat
