"We're gonna beat the hell outta you! You! You! You, You, You!"

I hope to hear that chant a lot this year. It's the chant that rings through Arrowhead when my own Chiefs score a touchdown. With Priest looking as good as before the knee injury, a revamped defense, and Dick's "3rd year charm", I'm looking forward to Sundays this fall.

Oh, and in case anybody didn't know--I HATE THE EAGLES!!!

AND THE PHILLIES, SIXERS, FLYERS, AND NOW I HATE PHILLY CHEESE STEAKS!!

It's all over now, baby blue

Hey Geoff - cut her some slack, she roots for the Saints so I think that says enough ... :p

Regarding Dallas - you cannot live in this area and not hate them. It is engrained in our being. Of course we have a few 1-offs that think it was 'cool' to wear their Dallas colors to the VET (the good ole Vet - wiping a tear away from my eye) - yet they soon and unfortunately learn you never do that twice.

Really? I thought that was just here. We don't like Texans in this part anyway. Not since they started draining our lakes and taking all our water and that business with that little animal called the silver minnow.

But mostly because of obnoxious Cowboy fans!

OK, what is wrong with Dallas?

What is wrong for rooting for the 'Aints? You just never know. If they have a winning season ALL THE MEN HERE have to put on Dallas Cowboy cheerleader outfits and parade in front of me!! :p

Or maybe I was too drunk or high and hallucinating. Come on, when I got into football the Colts were gone and I'd give my left are and right breast instead of rooting for those damm Redskins...who play in Maryland and don't acknowledge a damm person here. Yeah...that's a team I DESPISE!!!!

It makes perfect sense to me??????? How are you feeling about now. Nothing here to get drunk or high on now, so safe to say no.

Now...did you understand any of that?

SB, you gotta excuse BDD (or Bad Daddy as he's known in the Fantasy Baseball thread) for his manners. He seems to think the trash talking continues in all the threads! :p

In any case, the 'Aints ain't that bad. Aaron Brooks is good- really good actually. They could do without Joe Horn's attitude though.

Hey DS - don't be talking bad about me - you will ruin what I am sure is a stellar reputation in the eyes of many here. OK probably not, but worth a try.

But since SB asked the questions What is wrong with rooting for the Aint's?

Do you mean besides the fact that they

A. Suck
B. Until about 2 years ago have never won a playoff game ?

Oh and lastly any team with Aaron Brooks as starting QB will never win a championship. Talented kid, but is not gonna win the big one, seems to get flusterred to easily. Although the Deuce is a 'player'. And no I don't mean you DS.

Don't be a playa hater!

I saw on SportsCenter recently that the Saints brought in some inspirational speakers or psychologists or something to work on Brooks's leadership skills. They seem to think he chokes in December.

GO BILLS!!!

The Bills are gonna rock this season. With Takeo Spikes and Sam Adams new this season, the defense should be great, and with Bledsoe running the offense, they should score lots of points. AFC East Championship, here we come!!

Yes. They suck.

But this country was founded on the struggles of those who persevered and endured despite staring adversity in the face. This country loves an underdog, a rags to riches story, the dark horse come-from-behind win or just the plain unexpected. Despite the feelings of discombobulation and lingering anxiety over decades, and decades, and decades of losses, each football season I wear a wary grin and optimistic perspective, that yes, this is the year for the Aints. If not, we'll party in the Quarter anyway!

Who am I kidding.

I agree ( )...

No doubt, alot of the young guns should really develop this year. I'm personally watching how Coy Wire is coming as out Strong Safety, he looked good last year, all he needed was experience. Travis Henry showed he was a true workhorse, it seems like guys pile on him and still he manages to pull out a few more yards...as for Josh Reed, he's not gonna be able to play the same game Peerless Price did. He's not as fast, and a diferent kind of receiver...Price was a flash & go, while Reed seems to be into following the routes and snagging the ball with some finesse.

Salad,

Don't despair with players with names like Deuce McAllister and Boo Williams they have to do good. Those names sound like they came from a movie script.

I'm a fan of the underdog. When the Saints came into the league they had one of my all time favorite players; Jim Taylor, who came from the Packers. And then the unflappable Archie Manning. But before I cheer for the Saints, I have to cheer for those lowly Detroit Paper Lions. Just when you think they might make the playoffs, they tumble into last place.

Oh now you are crying and there is nothing that gets to me than when a woman cries. Gee I hope it was nothing I said to bring this on, I don't know how I will get over it if it was.

Wow - that was quick I am over it already. I guess I am more shallow than I thought. Don't worry about your Aint's there are plenty of others on this board rooting for loser teams this year such as;

MaryCas - Giants
PL - Jets
DS - Da Bears
Beth - Ravens
LDV - 49'ers
Bunch of scrubs - Buffalo

See you will not be alone this SuperBowl disappointed that your team did not make it, look at all the others that you can call and together you can console each other. :p

Big,

The NY sports radio show - the Fan - hosted by Mike Francesa and Chris "Mad Dog" Russo were getting into a little football talk yesterday and a caller (maybe it was you?) asked them about the Eagles getting David Boston. They said that he would have blown their salary cap, but they needed a receiver desparately, since their QB could not win by himself. So apparently the "experts" think the Beagles don't stand a chance. Well, maybe they'll beat the 'Skins.

Condolences,
MC, aka KM
