I feel the exact same way Enzo - though Nintendo has actually had consoles in the past come with two controllers and a game - the NES and the SNES (NES came with either Duck Hunt and the light gun too or World Cup Soccer/Super Spike Volleyball and the NES Satellite, which is the package I got, or the Super Mario Bros. action pack), SNES came with two controllers and Super Mario World.

So I totally agree - Nintendo has gotten arrogant, with all the hype they received from the gaming community. It's exactly like you've said - they have been pushing multiplayer pick-up games for a whole group to play, but who will pay $180 for another three controllers?

Egads. And the PS3 is coming two days before the Wii. I may have some serious trouble deciding which to get...though I doubt I'll get either at launch with such high controller prices. Maybe for the holidays.
