No, Sony is not the only one doing it, but since they and Nintendo are the only ones left that had a major role in the market for the last 12 years, it's quite normal that Sony copied the most of all, or at least, who's copying gets the most attention.

IGN made a top-10 recently, from the 10 most original things in the videogame market. Most of them were from Nintendo, and most of them were used by Sony afterwards.


But anyways, I don't like and I don't hate the Playstation (1 till 3), nor the Xbox (1 till 360).
