So will quite a few people...I don't know what they are smoking, but I have to say that even with some great games, they are going to lose market share to Microsoft with those prices...

I mean, if they were trying to appeal to the "casual" gamer (who makes up most of Sony's market), who do they think is going to be willing to shell out $599 AND buy games at $50-$60 a piece?

Better get a shovel ready. They seem to be digging themselves a hole. I wouldn't by this at launch, especially with this price - because they are inevitably going to have to drop the price.
