Apparently HBO is doing away with its usual pre-season premiere at Radio City Music Hall. As reported earlier here, Lorraine Bracco (Dr. Melfi) spilled the beans about the opening episode (that something drastic happens - but no main star gets killed) and HBO is afraid that the pre-season premiere will spread the spoiler too long before it airs on tv.
