Vito Corleone was a wise don, but its obvious at the end of GF who is his successor, and its obvious throughout number 2 who made the family the strongest crime organization in united states as well as the world probably, thats something vito never did, he did not have the will to take out the heads of the other families, so Vito may be wiser than michael, but michael is much more of a bussinessman and knows how to make the profits.
