You guys have seen season four though right? I assume you ordered the DVD for your collection, but have already seen them. If you have not, enjoy and let us know what you think. TIS

Don P., I'll bet you watch more than one a night. When I rented the season, before I got HBO (seasn 4); I thought I would watch one, maybe two a night. I watched the whole season in a day, if time permitted, or at the most, it took me 2 days to watch the season. Gee, most of you have favorite seasons. I can't pick a favorite season really. I love them all. True, I could pick episodes that were excellent and others that were just ok, but I don't think any one season was a bad season. TIS

And the second reason: The extras on the DVDs are virtually nonexistant, apart from the odd commentary.
Mick I hate to say it now, Mick, but in the long run you might regret buying the VHS. With TV Shows, I tend to watch certain episodes more often than others, and even sometimes certain specific scenes more often than others. VHS will degrade as time goes on, but DVD stays good as long as you don't scratch them. Also, are the VHS in widescreen?

No, DonC, they're not in widescreen, and to be honest I much prfer the quality of the DVDs--they reflect the quality of the originally aired TV version. But if I get a job once my exams are over in May, I will upgrade to The Sopranos DVDs. Oh, and what you said about watching specific scenes/episodes, this is not the case for me, as I watch every full episode from season one right through to season three over and over again--helps to build the suspense for Pine Barrens (my fave). I tend to watch each episode as much as the others, and not show favouritism. Mick

It's funny how much stuff I notice while watching season four over again. I forgot a lot of shit that happened. Funny too, because this was the first season that I watched in its entirety...I didn't watch The Sopranos much before season four started. Anyway, great DVDs!

HBO has been playing at least one episode a week from the very first on thru, I assume, season four. I saw them all already, but am picking up more seeing them a second time. I find myself looking so forward to watching even the repeats on Sunday night. Everyone knows not to call me on Sunday nights between 8 & 9. I very very seldom get that addicted to a tv show. Frankie P. Did you finish watching season four yet? What did you think? Remember not to give anything away for those who haven't seen it, but wasn't it awesome??? TIS
