Not enough people are posting in this thread. It is very interesting for me to read the different opinions of fans of the show. Please, if you don't know the specific title of an episode, fear not: simply post what happens in the episode, and I'll figure it from there. Godfather, interesting choices there... Funny how my worst in season three was one of your best. I used to dislike Legend of... more than others, but I absolutely love this episode now, for some reason. Mick

Best: I dream of Jeannie Cusamano
Worst: A hit is a hit
Season two
Best: Knight in White Satin Armor / Funhouse
Worst: D Girl
Season three
Best: Pine Barrens
Worst: unsure
Season four
Best: Whoever did this / Whitecaps
Worst: not sure, I'll have to watch again, probably an episode with Janice in it a lot.
I found it easier to pick the worst episode from the first two seasons, because most of the episodes are great, whereas the last two seasons have a few episodes that I could pick, I'm just not sure which one.

Mick [/QB] Well Mick, the reason I like Mr. Ruggerio's Neighborhood is the distinctiveness of the ep. It's not your normal Sopranos episode. It's cool how the FBI gets the wiretap in. It's a change of scenery. Also the music in that episode is great! Steely Dan's Dirty Work and The Police with Every Breath You Take, which is in it's remix version, Mr. Ruggerio's Remix. All in all, I think it's a solid episode

Godfather, season three and season one are the two best seasons so far. All in all, I don't think either have any bad episodes, and I find it very difficult to choose a worst one of the lot. The opening episode in season three is fantastic, I must agree, and the music is great too (glad it's on the Peppers and Eggs soundtrack). But saying that, I do think it is the least watchable of the thirteen episodes of that season. Beats most of season four and two though. Mick PS> I have been watching season three boxset again until the early hours of the morning in bed, and tonight it's the big one: PINE BARRENS! Can't wait! I've forgotten how many times I've seen that episode. Icould easily watch it again and again.

I know what you mean Capo, Pine Barrens has to be the best episode so far from any season. Others may have more character stuff but would not be nearly as good on their own. I think it should have got a theatrical release - it is sooo entertaining and confirms paulie as one of the finest comic creations of our time. I can't fault any of season three at all. Four is another kettle of fish but the worst one HAS to be the episode where Tony and that pranking woman bumble around for an episode and FUCK-ALL HAPPENS!
P.S. Not so keen on your season 2 bashing Capo, it introduced Janice (who, i think, was never as good in subsequent seasons) and the Pussy-as-gman stuff was hilarious. Not to mention it being the swansong of Livia, Junior under house-arrest and Carmela's almost-fling. AND Robert Patrick!

Havent seen season 4 yet, i'm cant wiat to buy the dvds.
I think the best over the first 3 seasons is pine barrens for all the reasons I listed in the thread for your favorite episode. The worst overall I think is a hit is a hit. It didnt advance the story line too much and just kind of was a waste of an episode.
