Well, here we go. The final three episodes of any Sopranos season have always been great ones. And it looks like we're in for some interesting stuff.

My question, going into these final three episodes, who is going to try to kill Tony? I think an assassination attempt is gonna happen. Will it be Furio? Paulie? Johnny Sack? Silvio?

I can't wait...

In the future I'm pretty sure that Paulie and Furio are going to die. Silvio? NO WAY!!!!! He's the most lotal and he has not shown any sign of treachery. So Silvio and Christopher are his most loyal

Silvio has been acting "different" though all season. As for Paulie, some news about Tony Sirico and a few other in the local paper pretty much spoiled whether they will be back next season.
I won't post it here, so as not to ruin it for everyone.

Well, ChrisY2J actually had some questions to lead us into the episode, so I think it was a legitimate early post. And also, we're kinda on a superstitious thing where we think the episode will be good as long as Paul Pisano doesn't start the post.

Dissapointing. The shortest episode of the season (like 50 mins!?) and nothing really happened. At least AJ got some screen time - but where's Meadow been?! Looks like Bobby's finally gonna get over his loss. Tony "quit" therapy again (yawn). The NY/NJ thing is gonna come to a head in the next couple weeks, but not much further this episode. Junior's gotta go to court and they gotta rig a juror since his charade didn't work. And no Furio. Not even any sex

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

Yes, a boring episode....

But is there any character more evil than Tony's sister?
I don't think so.
She's a mean, conniving, bitch.

Essentially a nothing episode. I'm pretty sure that Tony's break with Dr. Melfi won't last. Junior asking the Russian nurse if she offered Tony an aspirin was pretty funny and Carmine's son mispronouncing Versailles was priceless. This episode ended the streak of three or four good episodes in a row, hopefully next week's will be better.

I don't really know what they can do in the next two episodes, unless they change their pace a little. Not really a good episode, and that last dream sequence was boring.I hope something major happens.

The word is SUCKS...Nothing that funny, no sex and no real action. I would call this filler. Just some more setup for the big "who will be hit next" Crap real crap, so anything they do next week has to be better. Seems it will be more important to give people the big build up then the real thing!

Screw AJ...nothing he does it that good and I for one would be very happy if we never sees Dr. Melfi again!

two to go and I sure hope they don't let us down after waiting 18 months for this season!

If everyone looks back at all the seasons some seasons didnt have episodes that where great ,great,,, but the reason this season is going slowly is because, season 5 is gonna be one big mess and a mob war ,,,,, im sure everyone who isnt happy this season will be very happy next season. As for next week looks like furio {cuz i did a slo/mo or next weeks } grabs dont or somin and im pretty sure some 1 gets killed next week , and paulie does the killing i have a feeling its furio. Reason i think someone gets killed is because, looks like two people are fighting and someone goes to the floor and then on another scene they show paulie get up with that face that shows hes pissed.

Hi,
I agree with everyone here. The episode was filer. The only other short episode that I can remember is from season 2. It lasted 45 minutes but was good. It was the one in which they tried to shoot Christopher. I believe the title was Full Leather Jacket.

What a yawn! Only two good lines (Uncle J and the aspirin, Carmine Jr. and Versailles). About two dozen boring side-stories that went nowhere. Periodically they forget what this show's supposed to be.

Anyone else think that Bobby B. might wind up testifying against Junior?

This episode was pretty lame. I'm really tired of the Janice/Bobby storyline. AJ is boring as usual. I totally thought that Carm was gonna show up at AJ's door with Bobby Jr. and Sophia and find AJ and Devon having sex or something.

One thing that I did like was that both Tony and Silvio are suspicious of Paulie and his relationship with the NY people. Christopher is my favorite character on the show, and I hope he makes an appearance in one of the final episodes. They kinda dropped the ball on the Adriana/FBI story line this season, though. I thought that's what the season was going to center around.

The scenes with Tony's appraiser being chased around by both Tony's crew and by Carmine's crew was pretty amusing. "I'm just the appraiser!"

Wouldn't it be great if it was Artie Bucco who went over to NY and kicked both Carmine and Johnny Sack's asses?

Yeah, it was kind of a boring episode, no significant developments. Usually, the last three episodes of any Sopranos season are all barnburners. I mean, last season's third-to-last episode was "Pine Barrens", arguably the best single episode ever. So I guess we've been spoiled by past seasons and we were set up for disappointment.

As for the episode, it wasn't totally without merit. The poor appraiser being chased around by the New York boys and then by Vito and Eugene was pretty funny.

AJ has proven himself to be a little shit, just a whining brat. I'm glad they somewhat tied up the Janice/Bobby storyline (and yes, Janice is a manipulative, evil, selfish character; Bobby's kids are probably emotionally scarred for life now).

Junior looks to be doomed.

And what I found most interesting was the Johnny Sack machinations with Paulie, making Paulie think he'll be the new boss with Tony out of the way. Clearly, Johnny wants a North Jersey boss he and Carmine can easily influence and control, and it appears that Paulie is his choice. Will Paulie see Johnny's true motives, or not?

And what of Carmine Jr? What is he gonna do now? Side with Tony, or turn on Tony? It was cool to see an old character come back (Beansie Gaeta, the pizzeria owner Richie Aprile ran over back in early Season Two). And Carmine Jr's malapropisms rank up there with the all-time best of the show!

Tony's final dream looks like it may be a harbinger: Tony is likely going to be reduced to having nothing, just like his grandfather, who came to America with nothing, looking for stone mason's work.

"The Sopranos" is not gonna have a happy ending for Tony.

I'm starting to think Paulie may be playing with Johnny and tell Tony what's up. I don't know, just a hunch. It seems too obvious.

"Something" is going to happen with Paulie. Even in the coming attractions they show him breaking into a house, and having a look on his face like he might have just whacked someone.

Well, I think my winning streak is over. A couple of the threads I started had good episodes, but this past one ws not so good.
We either need to give Paul P. another shot, or maybe you should start the next thread, Don C!

You guys make me laugh..

like who starts the tread is going to make a difference in how god the show is going to be...

If you go back and look I started the tread two shows ago...which everyone thought was great with Raphie...

So does that make ME wonderboy?

Sit back and relax my friends. There are only two shows to go and they are already in the can so they aren't going to change!

Lets just hope they are good ones.....
