An attempt on Tony's life = a great and enthralling episode.

They tried to move on,and all it did was stay in the same place by the end.

The only thing moving forward is the Furio and Carmella relationship.

That was a good one. I don't know what the hell Furio is thinking about. Maybe Johnny's rage over defending his wife's honor is foreshadowing about how Tony would defend Carm's honor. Man, if Furio hits some of that action, he's sure to get clipped.

I'm more excited about next week's episode. I've been waiting for them to revisit the Adriana/FBI issue.

I was expecting alil more to happen tonight. AT the end of the episode we ended up where we started. Nothing new. It was odd cause on hbo.com they released the wrong clip for this week. but next weeks episode looks good..violence..slapping around..I really wished somebody had gotten wacked tonight. Why do the writers stall with the plot. The first two seasson were good cause sh1t got done in an orderly fashion.

So, I'm guessing Tony's contract on Johnny Sack is now "null and void" since Johnny is now willing to accept Ralphie's apology(?). Not that those old dudes could've pulled off a hit anyway! Poor Ralphie...little turd don't know just how close he came to getting iced. Yeah, Furio may be thinking with the wrong head! God have mercy on him if he does, 'cause Tony sure won't! Another great episode!

I think it was a good episode overall. I think the writers are just teasin' us for a "killer" episode, if ya' know what I mean. However, I do hate they're supposedly not going to tie up the Slava end (the Russian connection, via the Pine Barrens episode of season 3). I think that would've been interesting.

It was the episode of anticlimaxes. Maybe its just me but I don't think the Furio/Carmela subplot is going to go anywhere but I could be wrong. I saw an interesting Godfather parallel when Tony was seeking Uncle Jun's advice regarding the Johnny Sacramoni/Ralphie C. situation. The great thing about the series is that each episode deliberately keeps you craving more...

Good to see Al Neri again. Yes, his name is Richard Bright.

I'm thinking that Furio's affection toward Carm is not in a sexual way but in a mother/son way, more maternal. She will read it the wrong way and make a move and he'll set her straight, then she'll have a complex about getting old.

Is Furio a made guy? I figured he'd be one back in Italy but does that transfer?

Well, I guess I was wrong! Talk about false advertising...I thought when the car was following him in the preview it was somebody trying to whack him, but it turns out it was Jennifer's shrink! HAHA!!!

Even still, I thought that Asian guy was gonna whack Ralphie anyways. Then some shit would have went down.

It was a great episode, though! Next week's show is gonna be sweet!

Edit: By the way, who was Richard Bright (Al Neri) playing? I didn't even recognize him!

Hi,
That was funny when Junior sent them to the DiMaggio crew. They looked like none of them could see straight. Silvio hands them a picture and says the guy on the left. Good thing the hit was called off. They would have probably went after the guy on the right who was none other than Tony. What aboaut the part in the garage with Tony and Melfi's shrink. I have a feeling that somehow Tony will find out about the rape and take action. In one of the clips he is sitting in Melfi's office and says, "You let me sit there and said nothing." Ralphie was a hair away from sleeping with the fish. Johnny Sac also was going to get it. The sit down with the cell phones was hilarious. I thought Junior would have been disconnected for sure. Look at the episode when he had his hand stuck in the sink.

Hi,
I think that once Johnny saw that Ginny was giving him a BS story about the diets he decided to let the issue go.

After the scene where Johnny called off the hit, I asked my dad "what exactly did he realize?"...my dad goes, "He realized that his wife really is a fat pig."

Who was Al Neri playing?

By the way, that shit with the old hitmen/drug addicts/whatever, was hilarious! Did you see Christopher when all of a sudden that scary broad comes up behind him and goes, "Want to stay for cake?!" HAHAHA!!!

Hi,
I watched again last night and noticed Richard as one of the DiMaggios. I also noticed that Dr Melfi's son goes to the same school as Meadow. I wonder if this is how Tony finds out about the rape? The girl telling Meadow about the legal aid programs was talking to Melfi's shrink. That might be the connection.
