mehmet ali agca was member of a turkish nationalist organization in 1970's called the idealists aka the grey wolves. this was an anti-communist movement. until the military coup in 1980 there was a serious war in turkiye. the army imprisoned both the communists and the idealists. agca first assassinated a famous columnist in 1977 or so and escaped from the jail in a year. in this while the organization helped him hide away in various places in europe. in those years, the organization which was already turkish part of gladio lacked for financial support and somehow this guy got the chance to introduce some people in europe. according to rumours it was bulgarian secret service which determined an assassin against the pope. i dont know why but here the gf-III gives an idea, doesnt it? during the assassin, oral çelik who was a grey wolfe too was with him. as for abdullah çatli he was the man who co-worked with both the organization and the turkish secret service. he had also accomplished many great jobs in france such as defeating the armenian terrorist organization called "asala". i have no idea about other guys. thats all i know. by the way, agca, çatli and çelik werent mobbosses. they were in important points in the anti-communist movement. even they had nothing to do with mafia until gladio stopped supporting the turkish anti-communist movement. they needed money and arranged an assassin. it was all business. oral çelik is now free. agca has lost his mind in italia (he once claimed to be jesus) and a few years ago was sent back to turkiye. abdullah çatli died in a suspectful car accident in 1996.
