It's worth remembering that Bogey and Bacall, not Sinatra, founded the original "Holmby Hills Rat Pack" (named after the section of LA where they lived). Sinatra was a relative latecomer to the pinnacle of Hollywood because his career had been in decline until "From Here to Eternity."
