I have say there has been studies that it is possible to create a murderer and torturer. It takes a while but you have to go through a few stages. This type of training was used through the world wars for both interigation methods and as pure genocide/ethnic cleaning. Social influence would probably the highest factor.

Im not off to go into it all but all I wanted to say was anyone can be made to murder/torture aslong as the right stages were applied.
