Scarface is NOT a cult classic.

And it isn't a MAFIA movie, but it does have to do with the drug mob, the Cartels.

What constitutes a cult movie? Tons of fans, book sequels, fan fiction, websites, figures, dolls, car models, posters, t-shirts, hats, buttons, etc., etct. I'd say that constitutes cult movie status.

"El Rey" ("The King") a Colombian movie about a pionner in the coke buissness... Its a nice and fully violent movie, perhaps not well known

"Cult" and "popular" are much closer to being antonyms than synonyms.

I don't know about that. Nick Tuturro looked pretty weak as Sammy, that hairdo, my goodness. Overacting. As for Sizemore as Gotti, excellent! He saves the movie. But overall I thought that it was a cheaply made movie. IMO "Gotti" was a much better made movie.
