Ya sing that was a good movie with Ray HENRY HILL 4 EVER Lliota.
An underrated mob movie me thinks is John Milius' 1973 B movie of an exploitation action movie is DILLINGER, coming from the same time as Roger Corman and AIP was pumping out all those 30's/40's-era gangster movies like BIG BAD MAMA and this movie.
Based of course on the legendary 30's bank robber, the movie is not really a biographic drama but more or less a drama-action-bio flick(like say 1994's TOMBSTONE)....but neverless quite enjoyable and fun, and having small but good acting by such folks as Harry Dean Stanton, Warren Oates, Richard Dreyfus(as Pretty Boy Floyd, a good 2 years before JAWS)........the coolest parts of the movie was when the lawman(Oates) smokes cigars over the corpses of all the FBI Most Wanted criminals hes been after.
From the script-writer of such movies as APOCALPYSE NOW and JEREMIAH JOHNSON, and the writer/director of flicks like CONAN THE BARBARIAN, RED DAWN(When Commies Invade America!), THE WIND & THE LION, etc....and the decent DVD for $6 at some grocery stores, its worth a rental or buy or whatever.
