I was reading a book on the Coens last week. Miller's Crossing was inspired by the recurring image they had of a hat blowing in the wind through a forest.

Still to see the film. The longer I go without seeing it, the more I expect of it, which is never a good thing, especially with the hit-or-miss Coens. As it is their earlier work, though, I expect this to at least live up to some of my expectations.

I taped Raising Arizona the other week, and still need to watch that, too.
