Patrick, just because you do not appreciate the genre does not make it any less of an accomplishment. It's not just the script writing either. It's the actual film making side that is amazing about Tarantino. The camera movement is dynamic, his movies are gorgeous. Kill Bill is influenced by old Kung Fu movies and spaghetti westerns. Tarantino is diving into a new genre, and the results are amazing. This genre does not contain the realistic facet of Reservoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction, but try to appreciate the films for what they are instead of what you usually enjoy.
