The GoodFellas Special Edition DVD will come though, I believe the producer mentioned that he did a commentary for the film for a planned future release. That's why in most DVD release lists, like in dvdtalk.com, GoodFellas is always mentioned in the bottom following the "TBA" banner.

It probably will come out soon, so they can make as much money as possible on it. I dont think its a really good idea becuase the original DVD didnt really have any flaws.
Jerry: Ah, you're crazy. Cosmo Kramer: Am I? Or am I so sane that you just blew your mind?

The DVD is a flipper and it's special features suck! [/b][/quote]I thought the picture and audio quality were acceptable. I dont know about the special features but I care more about the actual movie than the bonus stuff, I usully never get around to it anyway. I guess for people that want some special features, a new release would be a good thing.

This is for the UK, but I think that it will be pretty much the same for us in the US. This is from http://www.davisdvd.com/news/spy.html (I had to type it myself because it doesn't let you copy and paste, so there might be some spelling errors.) "Warner Home Video UK have confirmed two of their more highly anticipated special editions releases for Summer 2004. First up is a new two-disc special edition of Michael Mann's crime drama Heat . Look for this one in July. Just as exciting, if not more important, is Martin Scorsese's Goodfellas. The best film of the 90's finally gets the respect it deserves with a two-disc special edition loaded with documentaries and audio commentaries. Look for this one in September, along with the DVD debuts of After Hours, Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, and Who's That Knocking On My Door?" Finally! The Goodfellas dvd should be really great - two-disc, documentaries, and audio commentaries! Riley
