You could say it is related to gangsters, yes. The whole movie is a chain of different stories. You will see hitmen John Travolta and Sam Jackson in action, and later you'll see Travolta going out with his boss's (Ving Rhames') wife. Following that, you'll follow the story of boxer Butch (Bruce Willis) who is being chased by the mob, and the most unlikely of things gets in his way: a watch. Finally the film will end with yet another story: the aftermath of the first one.

I guess that could some it up a little bit. Sorry if you find some small spoilers in there though. Hope you enjoy the movie, man, it's one of my favorites.
