Obviously not, as that would only make it even more fairy-tale solution-like.
What I meant was
SPOILERSthat for an almost three-hour long film that lets you get to know the two lead characters so well you become part of the film itself, it is all solved in a less-than-minute scene. Saying that, the handshake was much better than having a big lecture to one another. It just wouldn't have worked if that had happened.
