I have read some mixed reviews concerning this movie. And I am also worried about the length, which is almost two hours. Each of the Godfather films is about 3 hours long. This movie seems to be too short to include all the events that took place in the book. Did the movie only use the storyline of Mario Puzo's Sicilian?

The book is some of Puzo's best work, the movie was really bad. I saw it a long time ago but I do remember that I was very disappointed.

I haven't seen the movie, and not even planning to... but the book is a MUST have.

Personally for me it is Puzo's best piece of writting.
