"You said that already", was Nicky telling Lefty that he already said that a Cadillac has "more power" than a Lincoln, or it may be the other way around, Lefty saying a Lincoln has more power. It's the opening scene of the movie.

The "Merry Christmas...Donnie", was said by Lefty's son, Tommy, right before Lefty admits his own son is a junkie.
