I think the Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta character's in Pulp Fiction are kind of similar to the Al Pacino and John Cazale(RIP) character's from Dog Day Afternoon.
Both are criminals,Pulp Fiction choose's to kill other's while Dog Day Afternoon just say's that they will throw bodies out the door.
Trovolta and Cazale are the gunmen.
Pacino and Jackson are leader-types.
Both John's have the same hair style.
