I agree about Kevin Costner's limitations.

But, Sean Connery was very good. In that photograph that the papers take(after the guys start busting liquor operations) of the 4 Untouchables with Costner, Garcia, Connery and the accountant dude (his name escapes me) Connery is the one who stands out as the leader. It's easy to forget Kevin was the leader.

Still worth at least an 8 though.

Once Upon a Time in America is very good. Make sure you see the 229 minute version and not the TV or chronological version. They were messed up and the director denounced them. Try and do some background reading on Once Upon a Time in America and you'll understand more about what the director was trying to achieve. Things like Deborah's lack of ageing and Noodles not knowing about Bailey years earlier start to make more sense.

I don't know what's available in the States, but look around old/arthouse type bookstores. Definitely worth a 9
