I'd vote for Analyze This too, because the ones in the poll are too alike. I could never choose between Casino and Goodfellas... I did now, but if Analyze This was there, it would get my vote.

I chose Casino because of the glamourous setting (Las Vegas and all) I liked that.

By the way, what I remember most of both movies is how Joe Pesci's character is killed and knowing it a few moments before he goes. In Goodfellas he says "Oh Shit" or something which is absolutely fantastic, but the way he has to dig his own grave just thrilled me a bit more.

In my opinion, Once Upon A Time In America is the only film to come close to the first two Godfather films. I didn't like The Untouchables. It had Brian DePalma's trademark stupidity, and his impersonation of Sergie Eisenstein was pathetic. If that film had been put in the hands of Scorsese, Copolla, Oliver Stone or possibly even Steven Spielberg, it would have been much better.

I would say first Scarface, then Goodfellas. Disappointed that Scarface wasn't on there, but I voted for Goodfellas!

First, nice poll Ricardo, I enjoy your posts AND good luck on your screenplay, my man.

I only went on movies listed, not on others. I chose Donnie Brasco because it was the perfect Mafia role for Pacino to play after his GF roles. Why? It balanced out the view of the mob. The Prince and then The Pauper . The other side of the coin. Ying and Yang.

If a kid sees the Godfathers, he must see Brasco.
