"Oh, you're gonna love this. The writer/director Troy Duffy wrote this after seeing a mob/crack dealer roll a dead crack addict in a wheelchair and dump her over and then say "give me my money bitch" and pulled the money out of her boot, in his neighborhood. Duffy had executives at Miramax lined up to buy it and sign his band and buy the bar he worked at to get the rights to this film. But they wanted to cast either Sly Stalone or Brad Pitt and he said fuck it!! He wanted to cast it his way. Then Blockbuster picked it up!! Haha It's one of my favorites of all time now. Some company in Canada has the rights to it but I think Fox has them now and is planning on releasing it on dvd in a few months. What's even cooler is Duffy's(writer/director) band plays the music in Boondock Saints(that's their name too btw). Duffy is the singer/guitarist too! They are some bad ass songs!!! I had heard it on the radio before too, that song "you better come to me". It plays on the scene in the alley when the two brothers attack those guys. Simply awesome!!! You've gotta go see this movie!!! There are some wonderful scenes when the mob boss is in court on trial and then they come in and....ah I won't ruin it for you. Just go rent this tonight, you'll thank me."---posted earlier by me
also there's a cool scene where the mob gets this killer out of jail and hires him to kill the Irish brothers. He opens up his trench coats and it shows his six guns and he pulls them out and starts firing and throwing his guns away when he runs out of ammo......ah it's just cool. You've got to see it.
