I read somewhere that Pesci used to play guitar in a '60's Twist band, Joey Dee and the Starlighters, released a solo album, and later did a standup comedy act in nightclubs with Vincent as the straight-man. Pesci was working as a maitre d' when Scorsese found him for "Bull."
