In the last 30 years, or so, there have been three fictional characters that have truly amazed me....One was Lord Toranaga from "Shogun", one was Vito Corleone, and the last was Kaiser Soze (from "The Usual Suspects").

Without giving away any of the storyline, Soze was the most intense, because of what he was willing to give up in order to achieve his goals.
