I dont know how they are, but if you spend any time in NY or LA you are more likely than not to see a celeb in a restaurant or out and about. If they are eating I NEVER approach them because I think it is their right to go out and have a good time without having autograph hounds bothering them. One year I was skiing out in Sun Valley Idaho and ran into a bunch of celebs including Tom Hanks, Arnold (before he was governor) Schwarzenegger, Bruse Willis, Demi Moore and Clint Eastwood. At various times I said something like "hi, I really ebjoy your work," or something like that, and all were extremely cordial to me, I think because I wasnt hassling them.
