That's why I wondered why you selected that particular "factoid" to bring to our attention, instead of any of the thousands of others which were available.
It doesn't "please me" or not "please me". It just makes me curious.
I mean, if you shared a characteristic with a well known person - I dunno, let's say you had a Masters Degree in Crop Fertilization - and someone, in writing about that well known person, cited the fact, to the exclusion of all others (and that fact had notrhing whatsoever to do with the story in which the person was being described), that this well known person had a masters Degree in Crop Fertilization, mightn't you say....
"Hey....He has a Masters Degree in Crop Fertilization. So do I!
I wonder why the author chose to mention that fact."
