I was at a political meeting (it's true, I have a lot of friends in politics) and we were discussing arrangements for a fundraising event. The local labor federation agreed to donate the beer. We also discussed getting a gaming license to have a raffle. So of course I said:

"Now we have the unions and the gambling, and those are the best things to have."

About half the people got it, even though they were all familiar with my GF obsession.
