Dr., you are being presumptuous to know what I "pretend". I was just pointing out that there are good AS WELL AS, bad sides to America's excesses. I was born in 1949. I've seen many of America's excesses of bigotry, poverty, greed and corruption. I've also seen how America takes in the poor and desparate of other countries and helps feed the poor and impoverished who don't live on American soil.

It's a big complicated world out there. Try a little gray on your paintbrush and throw in some splashes of color while you're at it - Mellow Yellow would be nice too.
