I was just typing up a long report today and I came across a few I really liked, and then they got me thinking.
Vat (n) - A large vessel, such as a tub, cistern, or barrel, used to hold or store liquids.
Apricot (n) - Downy yellow to rosy-colored fruit resembling a small peach.
Opt (v) -To make a choice or decision.
Indeed (adv) - Without a doubt; certainly.
Sliver (n) - A slender piece cut, split, or broken off; a splinter.
Extinguish (v) - To put out.
Sex (v) - The sexual urge or instinct as it manifests itself in behavior.
Rue (v) - To feel regret, remorse, or sorrow for.
Zeppelin (n) - A rigid airship having a long cylindrical body supported by internal gas cells.
Cataclysm (n) - A violent upheaval that causes great destruction or brings about a fundamental change.
Fuck (int) - Used to express extreme displeasure.
Sacrosanct (adj) - Regarded as sacred and inviolable.
Ox (n) - A bovine mammal.
Strawberry (n) - Sweet fleshy red fruit.
Jacuzzi (n) - A large whirlpool bathtub with underwater jets that massage the body. (This might be a proper noun, I'm not sure.)
Cigarette (n) - A small roll of finely cut tobacco for smoking, enclosed in a wrapper of thin paper.
I dream in widescreen.
