Ebay is probably the best place not only for purchasing all types of collectibles but also for gauging the marketplace. Although not officially a "price guide" per se, ebay should give you a pretty good idea of what people are willing to pay for your stuff if you decide to sell. It has been an invaluable resource in my sports card and memorabilia collecting pursuits (I'm a geek I know).
